How a week works
It's a book club with a two-hour book. No homework, no film-school vocabulary needed, just an opinion.
Monday
The film of the week drops, along with where you can stream it.
Any time before Thursday
Watch it when it suits you. On the sofa, on the train, at 2am.
Thursday, 8pm
Join your 45-minute video crew meeting. A few prompts get things going, then it's yours.
Same crew, every week
You're matched with up to seven other people who like the same kind of films. You meet the same faces every Thursday, so by week four you're not chatting to strangers any more. You're arguing with friends about the ending.
Not clicking with your crew? Ask for a new one any time.
A crew that fits
Tell us your age group when you sign up, and we'll put you with people at a similar stage of life. Happy to mix? Tick “any age” and we'll place you wherever there's a good seat.
Eight seats. One film. Every Thursday.

Why Spoiler Room
I've always loved films, and for me the best bit of a great one is the conversation afterwards: the ending you can't stop thinking about, the scene you'd have cut, the character you'd defend to anyone. But most of the time there's no one to have that conversation with. Book lovers have book clubs; film lovers deserved one too. So I built Spoiler Room: one film a week, the same small crew, and a proper chat when the credits roll.

Questions
Do you stream the films?
No. Each week we pick a film that's on the main UK streaming services and show you where to find it. You watch it however you normally would.
Do I have to turn my camera on?
It's encouraged, because that's how you get to know your crew, but it's up to you.
What if I miss a week?
No problem. Your seat stays yours. Just let your crew know and catch up on your next Thursday.
Is it safe to meet strangers?
Every crew meeting has simple house rules, members are 18+, and you can report or leave a crew at any time.
Will everyone in my crew be my age?
We match people in similar age groups wherever we can. Some crews will be mixed, especially while we're small, and if you'd rather mix, just say so when you sign up.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Spoiler Room is free for members: no subscription, no ads, no card details. It's here to help people who love films find a few new people to talk to every week.
